The health drain isn't a big issue, though it does make it hard for her to comeback from extremely low health values. What really murdered her in 5 was the balance patch. The roster is shit mainly cause theres no real reason for the change. The lack of a developed story mode means that the clone characters are more or less just remodels of existing ones. They would have been better off just reusing the old characters people are familiar with.

I have been playing Soul Calibur since the second game came out. I also played the first one.
I have enjoyed every single one. However, my personal favorite is 3. It introduced the custom character aspect and I actually loved Chronicles of the Sword.
I am pretty much guaranteed to buy a new Soul Calibur game, can't be worse than 5 (Though I still liked it and played it quite a lot) and it has to be better than Lost Souls.
