I'm having trouble getting into it. I started the series with 4 and I miss the overworld mechanic too much.

Since it's a remake of the first, it's a nice way to play through the series without going through the clunkiness of the DS version. Although story mode was boring for me, and the grimoire system is a mess. EOU2 seems to have improved on those though at least.

I did like the overworld system a bit, but it made dungeons feel ridiculously short, instead of one sprawling labyrinth. Hope they expand those more if they continue with that idea.

I could of used every class in 4 to beat the game/extra content, the fuck? None of them were unusable, and if the playstyle of the class was to your liking/portrait to your liking then you just use it. To say they were shit is ridiculous. There's always obviously best choices in RPG games but only a minmaxing faggatron would worry about that stuff, especially in a single player experience.
EOU2 is infinitely better than the shit that is EOU1
but if you wanna really see for yourself then go ahead, $10 is a fine price for what it's worth.
