We can talk specifically about sixth gen stuff in this thread (GCN, Xbox, PS2, GBA), but I was more asking if anyone would have interest in posting in a general about it on /vg/.
/v/ has successful threads about pre-seventh gen games frequently, but it is all drowned out by newer games and drama. /vr/ doesn't allow for anything beyond 1999 systems, so /vg/ seems like a perfect fit.
The main reason I ask this is because I frequently find some older titles I want to talk about, but they may or may not be interesting enough to have a single thread on them. Maybe this way we can build a minicommunity that can be moved over to /vg/. I think it's been attempted before, but I want to give it another shot because I've been emulating PS2/GCN like mad lately.

1.The graphics were good enough that you could tell what the fuck was going on, but not so good that it costs 10 billion dollars to make one game
2.There was free online and no DLC
3.Plenty of fresh new IP's and original game ideas

Ps1 and N64 games were a big fucking mess visually speaking sometimes, I loved my ps1, but I still take 2D Snes graphics over the mostly shitty 3D graphics of the PS1 era, where everything had to be in 3D.
The PS2, Gamecube and Xbox were much better in that regard (as it should be) with games that still today look good like God of War 2, F-Zero GX or the Conker Bad Fur Day remake.
