Player builds, overall combat, replayability in the different factions, base building which adds variety to the gameplay, weapon customization, armor modifcation and overall a lot more variety in the gameplay.
Every build in Witcher 3 handles the same due to Geralt being an established character (they are all variations of a swordsman), every quest revolves around him following red period stains and the gameplay simply has no variety whatsoever. Even looting is boring, you walk into a building and spam the action button, you don't even need to look where or what you're looting.

The gunplay in Fallout is improved over F3, but it's still clunky and too reliant on VATS. You're either shooting a gun, tossing a grenade or swinging a weapon while walking around. In the Witcher you can at least add some variety by casting signs, dodging around, tossing bombs and using the crossbow if something is flying.

Opinion. My one playthrough of The Witcher took at least 10 times longer than mine for Fallout. Even if reloaded saves to see other endings (which I really dont care for, since the story and characters are painfully uninteresting), it wouldnt even add up to what I got out of TW3.

Skyrim has a massive modding scene which has been around since Morrowind and Oblivion.
The Elder Scrolls series has always been big, much bigger than most games. The game is kept alive through modding and nothing more, it is not like there is anything to do in the game once you complete it other than keep playing it with different mods.
The Witcher 3 has a next to non existent modding scene, TW1 wasn't a well known game and was never as big as The Elder Scrolls.

bethesda titles are fun, but they're also casual normie bait. they have a ton of features that exist solely to make the player feel very comfortable and rewarded whenever they do anything.

You can opt for fast attacks, or strong attacks or a mix of both. There are passive skills that increase fast attack damage when wearing light armor.
Aside from the strong attack and fast attack systems being two separate systems within swordplay, you also have signs (magic) and alchemy. So in total probably like 5 different playstyles or maybe more. I only ever use fast attacks except on this playthrough I'm trying out igni.
