You can unlock with them accessories, like Peach's crown with the Peach amiibo, Palutena's top with the Palutena amiibo, Inkling leggings, Zelda's tiara, etc. Non-compatible amiibos also unlock a star head accessory.

Look, you know how in, say, Dark Souls, or even your favorite MMO, you grind along and look in every dark corners to dress up your character pretty, cool or slutty depending on your tastes?
It's that, but without the pretense. Plus, it's cute, and you even have a few interesting systems, like taking photos in specific time/places to unlock colors.
The biggest realistic complaint I have is how the game's way too easy, never putting you at risk ever. Also it's weird you can after the endgame change all male NPCs clothes, but can't have male clients/avatars. I like playing cute girls, but if I could have made Karl Lagerfeld, I'd have done so in a heartbeat.
