I wonder what happened with the first guy I partied with in Menethil Harbor. He logged out back in 2007 and never logged back in. We chatted for about a week and adventured through that whole zone together back in vanilla. He had a girlfriend, an apartment, we liked the same boards and talked about reaching 60.

also the servers are populated enough, the only places where you're unlikely to see people are quest locations. OSRS has basically became PKScape. there are tonnes of people in wildy, training areas (such as experiments cave) or skilling areas. nobody is interested in doing quests they did close to a decade ago.
