This is objectively wrong.
The optimization was amazing. I have a toaster that stutters a lot and runs out of memory when I try to run New Vegas with textures on High and could run TPP on High easily.
The gameplay was really fun and diverse on how you approached the situations.
You can complain about the story, despite loving it I see how lacking it was, but the optimization and gameplay were the best things about it.

It was honestly nothing more than a generic third person shooter with borderline useless stealth mechanics. It was simplified to the point of being absolutely nothing like the previous games, if I wanted to play Gears of War I'd go play that not try emulate it in Metal Gear.
