Is the best because of that. Just hook your team up at the start and never have to buy anything ever again. Everything becomes a hand me down. But even with that your weakest Fighter still only takes 1 damage per hit. The only fuckers are enemies that turn you to stone.
Final Fantasy Legend for the Gameboy. It is the first game in the SaGa series. Final Fantasy Legend II has just a little bit of personality towards the characters, especially the main characters back story, other than that you can select what races you want in your party.

I think the first one is fairly straight forward. Mutants gaining random stats and spells after battles, humans needing potions to upgrade their stats, and monsters having to eat monster meat to transform. Weapons with durability and spells with charges along with a life system.
There is no battle rank, event rank, sparking, ways to chain skills, and so on.

I was just saying how SaGa games are always one of those games that love hiding as much as it can from the player. FF2 is a pretty good game but only after reading how everything works and each gear stat. If not you can easily have the game almost impossible near the end.

Yeah. The thing is that most of the good armor is just found. So you literally can just blaze through the whole game non stop and just do hand me downs. And at most the enemy will do is like 20 points with your 500HP. Just make sure you have tons of potions and some items to cure status like stone.
