Metroid Prime gave me motion sickness. My heart would be pounding and the lack of interaction with other people during that game freaked me out.

Playing this game, in the dark. I go into a room and see this. I freaked out. I didn't have it in me to look at the screen long enough to take myself back out of the room. I had to just turn off the TV, but I didn't want to turn off the console because I hadn't saved in awhile. So I left it on.
All night.
Knowing it was still there.
It wasn't until the next morning that I was able to get myself out of that room and find a save point.

Underwater levels. DKC had that creepy music that was meant to be soothing or something but it wasn't. Sonic 2 had the worst because you would panic once the count down started and those rotating blocks were always so slow.
I still don't know how they got away with this.

I was walking through a huge cavern once in Terraria. I was going slow, mining some tin, and the suddenly a fucking undead miner lands on top of me which instantly killed be because I had only about 60hp left.
I love the game to death, but moments like those keep happening and I feel like I'm gonna get a heart attack.

Amazing level. Still stands out as one of the best levels in a fps to me.
I found a copy of quake on the sidewalk so i took it home.
I was scared by the spooky grimy symbol thing so I didn't pop it in my pc for a while. Once I did, it didn't even work ,which was a huge relief for me at the time.
