Not really, it mind feel a little uncomfortable at first but you get used to it quickly and most headphones do a great job of being comfy. As far as material goes just research headphones in your pricerange and see what people say about them. Definitely ditch the earbuds though even a shitty pair of 20 dollar headphones are a step up.

I have really low standards on headsets, I've been happily using a Microsoft life chat lx3000 for some years. I want to buy a new one because of some issues.
Also, is it better to have a USB headset? Mine is USB and I like the convenience of having a separate device where I can switch easily between headset and speaker in the windows audio panel.
Has anyone been able to find FFX/X-2 HD on sale? Amazon was selling it for 20 buckaroonies but it went out of stock quick.

Super Mystery Dungeon is apparently really good. I wouldn't recommend Dark Moon. It's a really mixed bag with poor replay value and buggy multiplayer that I doubt is still active.
