Because of this, Marche's actions come off as pretentious as fuck with no argument to sustain them other than "B-but it's a dream. It's not healthy" before he beats the living shit out of everyone just to force such arguments.
Sure, as we see in cutscenes Remedy was already obviously evil, but this doesn't justify Marche's behaviour the slightest.

Compared to the spoiled despot that Mewt is, Marche comes off as a saint. Mewt created a world where anyone not connected directly to him had an abysmally shitty life under the oppressive rule of the judges that imposed HIS laws and whims. Mewt turned children into monsters to be killed over and over again. All of this because Mewt was too much of a pussy to accept his dad was a fuck-up and he missed his mommy.
