Nothing is "wrong", it's just not for you. This was 100% an attempt to cash in on all the Star Wars hype and to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. This game is less casual than Call of Duty.

It's no secret that Disney is trying to get kids to like the original movies. It's damn near impossible to find anything prequel-related in a toy store nowadays, they cancelled a couple of prequel-set video games, and even that Clone Wars cartoon got turned into a show about rebels.
