There isn't anything you can do in GTA5's freeroam you can't do in GTA4 or GTASA for that matter.
There's this whole conception that games are "bigger and more interactive than ever" but they're really just fucking big old empty maps.
There's more content but it's less interactive than ever before.
Wow, you can stand on a mountain.
Wow, you can drive around.
Wow, you can go on a rampage.
Games are still stuck in the PS2 era in terms how players influence the gameworld.
It has nothing to do with imagination, and everything to do with we've done all this shit a decade ago.

I'm not disagreeing with you, you're right, but that also doesn't make the game shit. It has advanced, and yes, at it's core it's still a generic TPS with a ridiculous satire ridden storyline about present day america, but the game is fun. People on /v/ like to pretend like this game is the worst possible thing you could play and you're a fucking retard for doing so. Some people do enjoy the simplicity of being on a mountain and parachuting off, some people do enjoy being the game and driving around killing people. It doesn't make me an idiot for having fun with something that's simple. I'm not saying the games amazing and deserves to be treated like such, but it's a good, fun game.

There is only one mod that was popular that does it. Simple ENB. You've probably seen many screenshots of it and think they're all different mods. Most mods for GTA make it oversaturated with bloom up the ass, I guess that's more your style.
