Does anyone know if you can use characters like Celica and Murderess after you finish their affinity missions? The wiki lists them as "recruitable" instead of "playable" and I'm wondering if that's why.

Went to the store today, fuck there's no advertising at all for XCX.
But they are going full on the new bundle Splatoon & Mario Kart and on the Mario Maker.
One store(Micromania) was selling the bundle Xenoblade Chronicle X, but there was only one for 299€.
Another one(Fnac) had a small Wii U game section(quarter of pic related), but a bigger one for the Amiibo.
Asked if they had the game, they only had 4 Limited Edition in the reserve, bought one for70€.

Xenogears is worth checking out when you have spare time. Just emu it since it's nearly impossible to find a physical copy anymore. Great story, gameplay, characters, music. Only downside is the second disc is rushed as fuck due to either running over budget or running out of time. Still a great game regardless.
Xenosaga 1 and 3 are decent, with 2 being pretty bad for various reasons. I'd say skip them unless you really want to explore more of the concepts that Xenogears introduced, but it's not as memorable imo.
XC is only similar to XCX in gameplay style. Different world, different story, etc. It'll give you a primer for what to expect in X to some extent.
