Fucking this. It should not win GOTY at all. The gameplay was good but everything around it was just poorly done. If it had stuck to linear, well designed areas like the older games it would've been phenomenal.

Bloodborne, followed by MH4. Pathologic is technically years old so it's hard to really count it, but these three dwarf all the other games I played this year, which were all highly disappointing in one area or just kind of mediocre.

Probably Witcher 3. Bloodborne is good too, probably quite a few people's personal GOTY for sure, but i doubt it will win.
