Some of us dont want to deal with manchildren that put all their time into this one game or dont want to listen to little boys try to talk shit over a mic. Mostly the first reason. After I saw people talking about how the researched every single frame of a fighting game for characters I knew I would not be trying very hard with fighters online. I'd rather play with people that get good just by playing. Not with people that do some sort of scientific research on what characters do what at what moment and exploit the most effortless characters.
