Way of the Samurai doesn't let you save normally. IIRC, it's at the end of each chapter. The game is short with multiple endings and meant to be played multiple times.

I was looking for more vampire games for my PS2 and I stumbled upon it.
Wild ARMs 3. This game is testing my patience with its horrendous dungeon design, and I actually liked other games with horrible camera like Sonic Adventure 1/2, Breath of Fire IV, Landstalker etc.
Yakuza 2. So good.

the thing (is it good? I loved the movie)
rule of rose (played a little bit, seems okay so far, has an eerie feel i like)
the suffering 1 & 2 (really liked 1, played the beggining of 2)
resident evil dead aim (is it worth playing? the first person view turns me off tho)
How difficult is it to soft mod a PS2? I've looked it up before, it sounds like you need to buy certain games in order to pull it off?

I think it's possible with other games that use separate elf files too.

learn to awase and get new sword skills, play on a harder difficulty to get enemies to drop blue scrolls so your sword can have some moves auto-blocked. yellow scrolls will make your sword learn moves but it might not be the ones you want. go to the foundry and do the hundred man fight to build your swords moves up and make sure to try different things (IE. crawl backwards after you get knocked down for x amount of seconds, use the same move, etc...etc..)
When Diablo 3 came out on console, I got it, imagining it as a new Champions of Norrath. I was pretty disappointed.

See if they have a catalog in the back. In richnond, VA, there are a couple stores on the VCU campus that sell used games. One of them will jew you out of your money. The other one puts all the shitty used madden games up front for 1$ each, but in the back they've got the real games in a catalog. Got ff1 & 2 anniversary for ps1 for like 10$. 10/10 would recommend if I remembered their name

The two Gameboy/GBC games are really good. Enjoying the PS2 game so far. There's a DS game too, but haven't played that.
The series is pretty long running, but those 4 are the only ones that were localized into english.

A coworker gave me his PS2 since be never played it.
Started replaying Makai Kingdom. I need to stop adding NIS games to my backlog; except for Disgaea 1, 2, ZHP, Phantom Brave and the Dangan Ronpa series I never finish em...
But this one is oddly fun. There is so much to do. I WILL beat the story mode dammit.
