The moment you get to the Alliance Attacks the tutorial ends. When you get your Junior Badges is when you can finally go fuck off and do your own thing, though the story continues to progress.

It picks up at chapter 6 a little, 8 more, and 12 is where it really opens up. I'm almost done with the main story now and it's been a great fucking experience.

Because having Pokrmon be the villain in a PMD game is so Gen 4.It annoys me to, having the villain be Gengar/a Meteor in Rescue Team was fine, having Dusknoir/Darkrai be the villain in Explorers was better. Did they just run out of evil Pokemon ideas so they needed to nick villains from Kirby now?
