I would say it's not even specifically the porn (but that might help for some people), but two things:
1) There's a clear purpose / goal to the puzzles. Often puzzles are just pure gameplay.
2) It has a nice system of ideal, semi-useless, and bad matches, which varies by girl, and you have actual interest in the girls, so you don't just feel like you're solving puzzles but are satisfying your waifu. And then you can also play around with this with a range of special items.
It also helps that it's fairly simplistic. You enjoy winning, and you win a lot.
