The appearance of Indivisible's cast could be argued as an opinion or choice of taste, so I'll forego them. Instead, I'll focus on the demo. Right away you start of in a temple adorned with religious symbols found in hinduism. Next, the cast of characters display their faith by their clothing, beads and manner of attack, especially the main charater. She uses a lot of attacks and poses that appear to be hand clasped prayer.
Next, are monsters. The type you encounter in the demo are take from religious myths found in islam, hinduism and malaysian folk lore centered around their teachings of their religion.
I could go on and on, but unless I take literal examples by reading their religious lore its based on, I can't pinpoint titles. It's clear to any one that Indivisible is rife with religious symbolism.

Kickstarter has rules against people dumping money into their own projects, and people have gotten in trouble for it. I'm not sure if it's the same for Indiegogo, but it would be reckless and potentially endanger the project more than it would help.
They've had almost 60 days to meet their $1.5 million goal and it is still looking like they will miss it by a few hundred $k. They had plenty of time, plenty of promotion, and plenty of help from other studios lending their characters to appear in the game, so if the game fails it's because not enough people wanted it.

And I know this helps no one because it's a billion forum posts but MikeZ has been talking about and answering questions about what the game will be on the dev's forum since the game was announced. He also takes questions about it during the streams, which are also on the channel, but that's less specific and I agree that a lot of the stuff he says needs to be said in a more public light. You know, I think Lab Zero is way too ambitious with this project. With just one other game to their name, why don't they start building a reputation of making a lineup of smaller games, then when your company gets big enough with 200 people and lots of reserve cash from pervious profits, then you can make a game as big as Indivisible without the need for crowdfunding.

The animations for a 2d sidescroller with this artsyle aren't excessively complicated. The level design is pretty basic, the character designs are uninspired (well, they are inspired in a sense, by copy/pasted stereotypes), and the music is nothing noteworthy, so surely the composer doesn't deserve to be paid the big bucks others get.
They are asking for more money than they need to they can line they're pockets after making virtually nothing on Skullgirls. They have proven to be poor decision makers. No matter how you slice it this is not a high budget production. It's pretty cut and dry.
