Madden 04, NFL 2k6 and NBA 2k12 are my favs and FIFA 04 was the best
>>
They need to make a proper player career mode on FIFA like NBA 2k does. With the cutscenes and shit so you actually feel like you're a professional player. It would be so much fun and would probably be popular as fuck.

That's all I have to say.

because sports games are shit

sports games at their best are arcadey fun that you can have multiplayer

and at their worst (current state) theyre too realistic simulators (but without any of the merits of a simulator because it still has to function on a gamepad).
meaning its no fun allowed.

what the fuck happened to good tennis games?
super fun over the top snowboard games?
ridiculous nba jam styled basketball games?

where has the fun gone

>Being so much of a loser you need to play a videogame instead of spending time playing actual sports
Fucking loser
>B-b-but muh overrated sport fantasy!
Fuck off, m8. Your shit taste still buys those shit games, faggot. Get some fucking standards.

I don't understand why /v/ never talk about it as well.
I mean, sports games are discussed in /sp/, but that doesn't mean you can't discuss this here too.
I'll help you out, OP. I play NBA 2k, it's a fun game. Too bad it's buggy as fuck, there are players I expected to be in there but aren't, and they're giving it the "movie" experience with their new MyPlayer mode.

I mean, Spike Lee hasn't been relevant in movies in years, as far as I know.

I got this game for free recently, haven't played one since 2013. It looks fun though, my PS4 doesn't come in until Wednesday.
