No. Just climb to the top and walk into the front guard rail. Z target, and side jump off the left side. Link will automatically grab the ledge of the fence that blocks off the old hag's house, and the roof you need to get on top of will be conveniently placed in front of you to climb. It's the easiest and fastest method.
