The only recent vidya I can think of that I put in a shitton of hours into has been Smash 4 and that's not going to slowdown any time soon. Let's see, I was put on some pills after a certain incident, those pills made me slow and clunky mentally. Also unable to feel any pleasure with any games.
When I got into Cave games, which I did in hopes they would reanimate my interest in gaming, not only did they make me enjoy myself again but I noticed something: my brain was improving, I would have much faster reactions and perception again.
So yeah, they are fixing me up.
I've never played any of the Warcraft RTS games and I've never played Fallout 1 or 2.I also really want a PS4 and Xbone to compliment my PC. Dammit, I want to play Destiny.

I agree with that ranking, but only for a small subset of games. The point of games is to stand on its own by its gameplay, but I think average gameplay cam be excused if everything else is the tops. This very reason is why I dislike Bioshock Infinite so much. It had a fantastic atmosphere and art direction, probably one of my favorites in any game, but the story wet the bed 20 minutes before the ending, and the gameplay was literally 5/10.
Once the story fell, it shattered the atmosphere, and the gameplay didn't get a free pass after that. I'm still mad to this day.
MGSV is my favorite Metal Gear and I played all of them starting on MSX.

F2P first person shooter games are objectively putting out more multiplayer content than AAA studios. This is a GOOD thing. FPSes aren't meant to be shitty rehashes year after year improving on almost nothing with each release.There hasn't been a good FPS that incorporated SP and MP since 2007. Bioshock got SP right, failed MP. CoD barely got SP good enough but did MP extremely well. HL2 was the perfect combo and there hasn't been another since it came out in 2004.

Reactionary/fast paced movement style games can work wonders on eye coordination and improving reflexes. That's great that it's working for you. Medications can really fuck with video games being fun.

I've played every Halo game except 5 and I consider Reach to have the best multiplayer.
