Yeah, the characters they added in Ultimate and LR won't be in the story mode at all, (so all the bottom row), but it will let you get a feel for the other characters in case you like the feel to any of them,if you don't already have a waifu that is

It's great fun at first, then it fades out for a while because the A.I, seems like bullshit, until you learn to do holds properly, then it gets fun again.
Also there's plenty of lewds, and on most platforms there's a way to instantly unlock all non-DLC costmes, and videos if that's what you're getting the game for instead.
