just like skyrim, I actually managed to play about a hundred hours waiting for when the fun was going to start.
I love somewhat similar games like devil may cry and the modern ninja gaiden games and I usually have no problems grinding, but MH is literally just the same thing over and over again and every iteration of it is just even more of the same. it's more samey than fucking pokemon.
also it wasn't hard like the fans said. out of the one hundred hours I played I literally only died twice, once to the purple royal ludroth because I didn't know it was poisonous and had no andtidotes and another time to an agnaktor in the volcano area. and I know people are going to say "but G-rank!", but if only the very last optional piece of a game has difficulty then the game isn't difficult on average.
I wouldn't call it objectively shit since fighting the monsters was fun for a few hours at least but I literally do not get why it's so popular and continues to be so popular.
