PSX seems like the safest bet for FF7R to even be shown off in Winter, again since FFXV is already taking up Jump Festa they wouldn't put both at the same event, and since they did the whole FF7 remake troll thing at PSX last year it makes sense that they'd show up this year again but this time with the actual remake.

We don't because of two major things currently:
1. /khg/ tends to die often and quickly due to the news droughts that tend to plague this series.
2. The last major iteration agreed that we shouldn't start another serious /khg/ until Unchained dropped in the West due to 1. And that was agree months ago and Unchained is no where in sight, so for right now we're in kind of a lull.

That's actually not what I'm talking about, personally I don't mind explaining legit plot/character/gameplay questions and sometimes they can make really good inferences, what I'm talking about is that KH threads in /v/ have a problem with really rampant, and really dedicated shitposters and general repetitiveness and/or autism. I mean it was inevitable, when the Remixes were announced Nomura notably said that 3D would be the odd one out and he would like to do it someday. I guess the bright side would be that now the series is consolidated to 2 consoles, but that of course leaves people who wanted them on Xbone out, which doesn't even make sense anyway.

I think the issues with the handheld titles are due to short dev cycles. I mean KH2 has a FUCKTON of animations for Sora. He has different animations for chaining into different attacks, an entire different animation set for his lion form, an entirely different set of animations for each of his drive forms (with different combos...)
The PSP and 3DS probably couldn't load that many animations at one time due to the much smaller RAM of the console, so the number of interim anims is probably lower, and the games were designed for fewer buttons overall. I don't think it's as simple as "osaka team suck", but I do have worries about KH3 if the Osaka team are at the helm.
His points about balance are entirely grounded though, even speedrunners can't use one strategy for the entire game, KH2FM is remarkably well-balanced.

They just made the whole thing more realistic. I mean look at Kairi's zippers for example, near her thighs. Instead of being huge and obviously seperated, the gap is much smaller. Kairi and Riku's faces are less exaggerated and are more anime.
I'd rather they just go with the KH1/2 style, but I don't think it's a dealbreaker.

It's not so much Kairi, though she looks real washed out, it's more Sora and Riku's faces. It's like their noses are too long and their eyes are a bit smaller than they should be/what is proportional. I feel like if you were to remove Riku's hair, his face would be not proportional. I mean I know he actually has a large fucking head, but it seems ridiculous.
