The first one, kind of. Not really.
The rest, nope.
High quality armpits and the third game lets you dress-up Armpit-chan anyway you like. Highly recommended.

These games are fine as long as you keep your expectations low. real low. lightning returns has the best combat but the worst everything else.

I'm planning on giving WAIFU RETURNS a try because they say the combat is fun, maybe if its cheap.
Man, I got hit so hard by 13, I was expecting so much after I just bought my PS3... Man was I let down, I was so disappointed I got depressed for some time.
The battle system gets progressively better, the story gets progressively worse

Is there a way to get worse than 13? The characters were so dull and boring, I never even knew what I was doing, who was that priest guy that turned into a giant mecha? Why was I in an ethereal realm in the end? Just WTF was I running away in the entire fucking game? FUCK.
I honestly enjoyed my time with XIII, but then again there are millions of better JRPGs games out there.

13-2 was the best imo.
13 is just plain garbage. Walk for 5 minutes, fight a boss, 30 minute cutscene. Repeat until you blow your brains out.
13-3 is ok but I didn't really enjoy controlling only one character.

Monsters in 2 never did it for me and playing solo in Returns felt lonely.

FFXIII is probably legitimately the worst game I've ever played
I haven't played any of the sequels but I hear they are alright. I'd seek those out before playing the 600 hour boredom simulator that is FFXIII
I remember playing 13 for a few hours and actually enjoying it.
And then I dropped it completely for some reason.
I should give it another shot. I have an extremely high tolerance for shitty games for some reason.
