Acer XB270HU bprz 27-inch WQHD NVIDIA G-SYNC (2560 x 1440) Widescreen Monitor

Acer XB 27" monitor features WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440) presenting stunning, high quality images with excellent detail that not only enhances users' working efficiency, but creates outstanding visual enjoyment.
NVIDIA G-SYNC technology synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate to the GPU render rate providing the smoothest, fastest gaming experience.
A rapid 144Hz refresh rate and blazingly fast 4ms response time deliver ultra-smooth motion scenes enhances the in-game experience. No matter how fast-moving the action is, transitions are rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting. IPS not TN.

Copied off of Amazon. I picked it up today for $709 ($56 in tax added) and couldn't be more happy with it.

I sent back my Asus Swift because of flickering problems and because it was a TN monitor.

Please help.
>>
>>318250980
Did you turn the monitor on?
>>
>>318250680
Thats the one I returned. IF the monitor worked properly I would say its on par if not better because of the 1ms response time in comparison to 4ms. But, other people will argue that because the swift is a TN monitor, the viewing angle is poor. I personally didn't have a problem with that. Watch out for screen flickering and your fonts getting distorted/cut off. That was my issue at least.
>>
>>318251043

Yes. It says DVI No Signal and HDMI No Signal. I plugged it up to my motherboard and GPU and neither of them worked.
>>
>>318251071
I've had mine for about 7 months now and the only problem i've had is the monitor doesnt turn on with my computer very rarely, i need to unplug and plug it back in. It's happened about 3 times so far so no biggie. G-sync is a pretty big joke, it adds a solid 7ms of lag which is really noticable. I never actualy believed the whole "IPS sucks because it's too slow" but after experiencing 7ms lag it's really bad. 4ms might be okay i guess in the end it depends what games you play and if you play competitively.

>>
>>318251579
it's just how g-sync works, it funnels the frames so they come out on time with no lag spikes. to do this it has to add some lag tot he response time.

if you have osu, update to the latest beta and check your response time in the bottom right, then enable g-sync and check it again it should go up by about 7ms

It's alright and I'm happy staying at 1920x1080. 144 FPS is kinda cool if the game can actually render at that consistently, but next time I'll look into an IPS display or something else with better colors and shit. Haven't even bothered with Nvidia's 3D stuff because I need to jew out some dollars for their specific glasses. Lightboost is alright but I don't like how it ruins the colors even more
