Thinking about picking up BF4 with all DLC for $20 considering it's on sale. Does it require the bullshit online browser plugin like BF3 or is it download and play from the get go?

Hardline is both dead and worse than BF4 in pretty much every way.
Honestly, BF4 was obviously fucking garbage for about a year after release, but this recent year has turned it into my favorite Battlefield title yet.
