I usually also prefer Nippon games, but what I dislike about them is that hey are always so unrealistic. Not unrealistic in the sense of "muh realism", but unrealistic in the sense of repetitive gameplay.

I would prefer if not everything in these games needs umpteens of hits to die. I'd rather prefer if they would be less about flashy and fast combat, but rather about methodical slower paced combat where one hit mostly can kill you.
But western games are also not much better in this regard. The combat in Witcher 3 for example is actually also not that bad, but it's just way too flashy with very fast movements and everything is way too damage spongy.

Not sure why you think I'd like these games, but they are not my type at all actually.
Slower paced combat is necessary to be able to read the movements of enemies. Otherwise you can't really react to things and thus the combat becmes repetitive and is just full of button mashing and damage sponges.
I mean just look at the fights in Bloodborne sometimes... It's just pure chaos sometimes where the player just constantly dodges and smashes the R1 button.
