A shit, dying game where its only redeeming quality is the slightly above average gunplay.
It lacks content, but it can be fun for a while. Good gunplay though, but it is a pretty "Eh" game, good to kill time with if you are into shooters. It does remind me though, why does /v/ always act like they hate mainstream games, and then whenever there is a "Steam profile thread" almost a good 70% of the hundreds of people that post on it, have over 1k hours on CS on average? and like 2k on TF2 and other games they claim to fucking hate like CoD and shit.

No one does Vog, CE, or the HoW shit anymore.

The vanilla, Dark Below and House of Wolves stories are pretty meh, with HoW being the best of the bunch. It really starts getting fun when you get into The Taken King stuff, as there's so much to do when it all starts out. Eventually you'll hit Light Level 280 and that's when getting better gear becomes a grind and requires you to play endgame content. Just play it casually until you stop having fun, then leave. Simple as.

a game whose nice skyboxes and good core shooting do little to hide its being basically just a smartphone grind with higher production values
