Should I build a gaming PC or buy a PS4?
Budget is around $800

Build a gaming PS4.
If you're asking, you should stick with ps4
Buy a PS4 and a laptop for shitposting, anime and porn. Almost everyone here with their GTX cards use it for memeposting and CS:GO. PC doesn't have exclusives.
For $600 you can get a PS4 + 3 games and a wiiU with 2 games and still $200 in change for other games.
That's 5 games the PC can't play and on top of it you'll have access to: Xenoblade Crhonicles X and Bloodborne
After you finish building your PC you'll be hard pressed to find anything but Fallout and indie games because that's all it has. It's a anti-gaming platform at its core.
buy a PS4
recently built a 1500$ PC and all I've been playing on it are 5+ year old games.
PC isn't next-gen anymore...
Buy a PS4 and a PC case.
Pay as you go with PC while playing video games with PS4 until you finish getting all the parts.
idort bruh

PC if you are interested in multiplayer since the best multiplayer games are only available on PC, also PC for singleplayer since all good indie games are also only available on PC.
Also PC is cheaper in the long run so you will be able to play more games (no online fees+cheaper games)
But you can get all the pc games for free if you want.

If money is a concern you should just buy a PC.
It may seem more expensive at first but games drop in price faster.
Or you could just pirate them and forget about that "paying" thing.

>best multiplayer
every game that isn't CS:GO or LoL/Dota will be riddled with hackers
