It would be if it was actually a hardware clone. It just loads the cartridges into memory and emulates the hardware, which means there can be bugs.

I really like where technology is going, how they're packing more power into smaller form factors. Right now, you can hide a Pi Zero inside of a TV and now you have a TV, by itself, that is capable of emulating all PS1 games and earlier.

I've looked into getting one. Don't care much for the controller but I've got all my old consoles & controllers laying around anyway so that's not an issue.
What type of signal does it output? Does it upscale or clean it up?
If the HD Retrovision component cables don't release soon enough I might break down and buy a retron 5.
