It's only natural you see so many remasters (prime example being the bundles) when there are so many people getting a PS4 who never owned a PS3, be it 360 players who switched over or just everyone else who skipped the PS3 for whatever reason.
Remasters aren't time consuming for devs are leave a lot of newcommers happy (including me, since the last sony console I had was the PS1). Literally the only people butthurt over them are kekkles on /v/ such as you that want to start mindless console wars.

-Every big Ubisoft franchise is shit and/or CoD yearly release milking status
-Anything Bethesda does is Oblivion engine 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and so on.

-ActivisionBlizzard has all the shit from Activision's side, and fun but not "out-of-this-world" Blizzard games, which are for the most part casual time/money sinkers
When I look back at the best games lately they are all either indie or western AA, or jap games like Bloodborne, DragonsDogma, Nier, EtrianOdyssey etc and stuff from VanillaWare or some Capcom games (like monster hunter)
