Yep, and you can see 0 got hit hard with the PS4 version getting gimped for the PS3 release. Lightning isn't as perfect, framerate out of battle isn't 60 fps at all times, shadows are a bit pixelated, water doesn't have proper reflections. Which is a shame because that was the opposite for Ishin which was first developed on PS3 but ported to PS4 and it was fucking beautiful man.
I understand that the market in Japan, hell Asia in its entirety still buy half the time more PS3 version of games, specifically Ryu ga Gotoku games, but they need to move on and I'm glad the team is willing to. The PS3 had a good run, it will be 10 years old next year in November so it will end with a bang at least.

they wanted to make a super deep, orphan-just-like-kiryu-without-friends character but they just made him really fuckin lame

I bought one on sale over Black Friday but I just realized the PS3 ports and Yakuza 6 are the only exclusives I'm interested in, the latter of which doesn't come out until next year. So I'm probably going to return it.

The only other two Japanese games I'm interested in, Xrd -Revelator- and Persona 4 are both having their PS3 versions localized for the west AFAIK. Can't think of any PS4-only Yakuza localizations but I'll gladly rebuy a PS4 if that ever happens.
