I love this game, but I'm currently in a bad spot where I can't seem to upgrade my equipment. I'm past level 30, currently 32 I think, but most of my stuff is level 25... My "room cleaning" capabilities are starting to get worse and worse as my equipment is severely outdated. Am I missing a dungeon or something where I could get more up-to-date stuff ?

Why would anyone pay for this when PoE exists for free? Serious question. I tried Grim Dawn and it just felt so unpolished, dull and boring, and it even looks worse than PoE. I had more fun with Diablo 3 than I did with GD.
I backed it on Kickstarter years ago after enjoying Titan Quest and still haven't tried it. Final release when?

How's the gameplay? I'd be interested if the skill system was wide-open and fun, but in all honesty the visuals and particularly the filters they decided to go with look like complete ass.

the skill system is like this: there are 6 clasess, you choose 1 and level1 and another at level 10, so if you choose a soldier and a ocultist your class change to witchblade and you can use skill of the 2 clases.
on top of that you have the devotion system, theres a lot to say of that system so better just check it in this link

If you search for high level gear, you can also plan builds around gear. I haven't looked into it too much but the potential is there if you search around on their forums.
For example, retaliation builds are now aided with the new devotion system. You can attach devotions to your passive buffs so when hit, you can summon a meteor storm 15% of the time you are hit. Among others.

To be honest, the devotion system sounds pretty overwhelming for now. It's looking like it'll take me a bunch of character fuckups to figure out how to take advantage of it well.

i think you can change your point in the devotion constelation in case you fuck up.
the important thing in the system is not to fill up all the constelation, or get the extra skill, the most important thing is to level up the skills you get there, and if you change your devotion skills, the exp the skill have dont reset

I really tried to play PoE but it felt so bland. I have a theory that ARPGs game are mutually exclusive. If you play one you cannot like another. I tried PoE, Victor Vran, Titan Quest and Diablo 1 after GD and didn't like them.
