Which is the sort of point I was making. Just saying if too much shit is going on in game it does pretty quickly max out four cores and want more. Best I tested it on was a 6core Xeon 3.5ghz whilst a 4ghz i5 died at times. This is all the physics engine though.
On the graphics front it's a case of don't bother with 4k even with sli 980ti. Single 980ti was getting 30-40fps just standing around, once you stand near and explosion, the particle effects bring it to a crawl.Tried it on 8k DSR for a hearty 0.7fps.

Open world sound so good on paper but there isn't a single open world game out there, at least recently or coming out in the near future, that isn't some boring copypasted slog whose world only detracts from the pacing of the story and completely dillutes whatever content it might have.
Take Witcher 3 for example. Such a gigantic piece of land with such a pathetic monster variety, the same handful of events copypasted a billion times on the map, ZERO loot worth a shit because everything is better than witcher gear and they even show ever point of interest in the map anyway. My graphics card is a bit dated. Although for some reason when I bought Mad Max it ran at a smooth 60 at medium-high.
