Can I use a bluetooth adapter with backwards compatibility (4.0 and earlier) on my PS4 to get my SkullCandy headset to. Onnect via bluetooth? PS4 does not support anything earlier than 4.0

>skullcandy headset
hahaha faggot
just plug them into your ps4 controller
If they don't have a 3.5" connector on them and are bluetooth only then hahaha what the fuck
>my SkullCandy headset
Just leave this place. This place isn't for your kind.
Should have known /v/ would be useless. If it isn't shitposting, it doesn't fly here.
I remember when I used to use Skull Candies
Never again

>SkullCandy
fucking underagers

I have them plugged into the controller, but the volume is incredibly low when doing that (yes the output to headphones is all the way up) there is a significant difference between being connected to the ps4 verses the controller
>>318159214
faggot, see >>318159027
No, the PS4 isn't going to have drivers for a bluetooth dongle, it has internal bluetooth.
If your headset isn't able to sync with the internal bluetooth and doesn't have a 3.5" connector you can't use it. If it does have a 3.5" connector just plug it into your PS4 controller.
Really, though, what kind of retard would get headphones that only work through bluetooth?

I have my ATH-AD700's connected through my controller and the volume is fine. Too loud in some games even.
Sounds like you've got a case of shitty headphones.
>>318159378
turn up the volume in devices
turn up the volume in settings
turn up the software volume in-game
what software are you trying to use

They sound pretty decent when connected to my phone. They aren't my choice, I've always gone with Turtle Beach. I asked a friend to look for a headset while he was black friday shopping and he returned with these. Fuck it, they'll do for now
>>318158724
>SkullCandy
They're shit.
>>318159682
Turtle Beach is garbage too. So are Beats.
In the future go with an audio brand and not a "headphone" brand.
Audio-Technica and Sennheiser are good bets.

Thanks for the tip, I live in a rural area so my options are limited unless I go online. All of these "headphone" brands are all anyone around here uses and I've never been too concerned with it until I moved and have neighbors...cant use my sound system as much anymore
>>318159682
Because they are made for your phone so you can increase the audio volume on the phone rather than in-app or on-device.
It's a shitty modern thing that tons of sites do nowadays and Skullcandy being a shit brand is obviously made for phones as well
>>318160567
You are correct. I cant even adjust the sound level using the buttons on the headset when I am connected to the controller. I'm not very tech savvy (obviously) but I've seen people rig up stranger things on here so I had high hopes that somebody had found a way to bypass this bluetooth shit.
