I have to say, I'm please with the abundance of NWN threads over the past few months.
It was a great game with an amazing multiplayer client and awesome toolset.
Did any of you anons ever try creating an adventure mod?
Just picked this up and replaying it, good times mlad.

The graphics are quite a setback but after you get used to it the game becomes quite good.

Pretty much any character powerful enough to reach epic levels is going to be a mary sue special snowflake.
It's also why low-level campaigns are the best, because you can roll a grizzled, mustached guard captain addicted to hooch that has to clear out a mine of kobolds using only gunpower, a torch and whiskey.

It was literally max. Either some bug or I don't bloody know. But for some stupid reason I've got max level 20 in the vanilla campaign, while everyone else was above 20.

MOTB has enough xp for drow to hit 30
You cannot be higher than 20 in vanilla campaign unless you modded it, your level is capped at 20 however the game does keep the xp counting so when you import to MOTB you can start at 21-22

Do note unless you have Kaedrin PRC (which you should) you need exactly 21 bard levels for Song of Requiem, so if you mix with another class like cleric of blackguard for divine feats you'll delay your requiem aquisition
If you have Kaedrin PRC it's based on your songs/day so you can mix with other classes earlier
Divine Might and Divine Shield are nice yeah. But Might costs power attack and cleave
Frankly the damage on a bard with requiem and all the elemental enchantments you can stack on weapons is more than enough

I don't really bother with melee bards since kaedrin adds Stormsinger which is goat bard prc
If you want to melee I never tried snowflake wardance but it does seem nice, besides the annoying fatigue. It does help in dual wielding because of double damage bonus, however both weapons must be slashing and the only small slashing weapon I know is handaxe so you'd have to settle for that in the off hand unless you want penalties
Be sure to get Leadership + Song of Heart, then get the level 1 Inspiration Boost spell
All this gives +3 hit/damage to your Inspire Courage which is massive

No need for divine shield. It costs a round to cast, bards already have great defensive spells like mirror image and displacement/greater invisibility for 50% concealment, an ac boosting song. Also saves you that cleric level, cleric dash is usually level 1 for the domains and turn undead so you get a divine feat
Bards also get UMD so they can use all gear and also wands and scrolls from all classes
I also don't really understand why the dissonant chord level there,but if you take cleric 1 only, you can go dissonant 2 for an extra bard feat at epic

Bioware finally pulled the plug on their NWN1 premium module auth server. Up until a couple months ago, the server would let anyone auth so the premium modules were effectively freeware. But they shut that server down. The modules are encrypted, and the keys were sent on demand every time you started one of the modules up.
Luckily, someone got all the encryption keys and made a tool to let you generate '.dat' files that let the game use the premium modules offline:

I remember having fun with the scripts with the nvn editor.
Making an enemy that autocalls the script for the time-stop eff when attacked with melee was intriguing, but there was a glitch when I tried to do the same with spells.
