Yep. Story is awful and theres very few strikes. PvP is just more cawadoody.
It's got fantastic gunplay and some fun movement/general gameplay mechanics but it really suffers from being a console shooter. Put it on PC and it'd be really damn good.
If you liked Halo and WoW separately, you'll love em combined. It's an incredibly comfortable game for unwinding after work.

If you're not into the loot then it'should a shitty game. If you don't have friends, shitty game. If you like the idea of playing a game "that changes as time goes on" (Bungie frantically fixing shit that should have been fixed long ago) then this is the game for you.
