Star Wars was fucked even before the prequel movies. The factthat people are STILL getting hyped for more movies after the worst trilogy in movie history just shows how bad the Star Wars fandom is. As a 30 year old Star Trek fan, the NuTrek reboots is the worst thing to ever happen to Star Trek. And that includes Enterprise season 1. And this is mostly because JJ Abrams flat out said that he doesn't like Star Trek so he changed it to 'what he liked'. Which means tons of anger and lens flares.
Its pretty telling that JJ Abrams knows nothing about Star Trek when Spock is the most emotional and anger filled character in the movie.
