>moral choices are a lot more rewarding than immoral choices
What have you got against realism?
>Game doesn't let you do bad things
>>318126146
>the only "bad" choice in like 80% of scenarios is "ask for more money by threatening someone"
>you're either a blessed kitten-saving saint or a baby killing psychopath, no middle ground
>>318126671
>middle ground is unsatisfying or depressing
>>318126028
>best boss fight in the game can only be accessed by doing the immoral choices
>>318126146
>game lets you do bad things
>but you get a game over screen if you do
>when important characters are carrying awesome loot on their corpses
>>318126028
>Character gets into argument
>Pick seemingly neutral dialogue respomse
>It makes the argument get even more heated
Maybe I'm just autistic
>>318127208
Even worse, is
>pick a seemingly normal happy dialogue choice
>character adds heavy sarcasm and tone
>other persom gets pissed
Why
>>318126079
The point of doing bad things is to get rewards.
>Rewards for playing like a doormat
That's what's unrealistic. I'd be like if a male feminist that defends women on the internet got laid by a woman he defended.
>>318126079
Why even let the player be a bad person if the game is going to punish you for it?
The reason anyone would do something immoral in real life would be because of the greater reward.
>>318126671
>kill one person
>you are condemned as Hitler Mk. II in the ending
>>318127974
Because game worlds can and SHOULD offer repercussions for your actions, both good and bad.
Would be really boring and stupid otherwise.
>>318126774
>Middle ground is objectively the best route
>glass him
I could never sell Dak'kon.
P:T is hard to play as a bad guy.
Does anybody else have a problem doing bad things in rpgs
Like I'll start a fallout playthrough with the intention of being a dick but then I'll still end up helping everyone
>>318128707
I feel ya. I couldn't be a little snot to Liam Neeson and so, I never ended up taking the EVIL PATH in FO3.
>>318126028
Undertale
>moral decisions are two or more choices all with pros and cons that can each be justified depending on your perspective and priorities
>>318129226
>Missing out on the best boss fights if you're a moralfag
>>318126028
I always play as a good character because of this. Every time I consider going evil, I think that karma's going to shoot shit back in my face and I won't be able to access the best things the game has to offer.
What are games where being evil is the more fun route? Fallout NV? Fable?
