Local game store having a 30% off storewide sale, got my shit I did not want, ending up getting a decent condition New 3DS and a copy of Monster Hunter 4 and Fire Emblem awakening for my girlfriend, going to give me my old XL for her birthday.
She;s going to be all over my dick and I didn't spend a fucking cent, feels good mang.
PS4s were flying off the shelves, saw tons of people getting the UC bundles.
Xbone was selling at a healthy clip, mostly only the $300 GeoW Remaster bundles though
Wii U console stack looked untouched, saw exactly zero people walking with the Wii U. Huge piles of Splatoon and amiibo

i went to the mall to pick up a copy of DQ5 not too long ago. traffic was pretty typical for a Friday night and it wasn't a clusterfuck. Got the Transformers game for half off from the Flash sale, and a new Ps4 controller from Amazon. There wasn't much I was really looking for this year, but I'm glad I got the few things I wanted with no hassle.

Call me self-righteous, but I try to give all of my customers an honest, simple rundown of what they're about to spend their money on after I ask them what they plan to use their new laptop for. Difference between AMD and Intel processors, hard drive size and what RAM is and why it's important. I tell them often that I'd rather lose a sale sending them home overwhelmed while giving them a better idea of what they're spending their money on and why rather than lie about it. It helps me keep my sanity so I don't have to accept how blindly they're willing to part with their cash.

It's a charming game with a battle system unlike any other, and once you get into it you'll see how fun it can be. The easiest way to break it down is to always use Hero Actions and to finish battles absolutely as fast as you can, getting in as many shots as possible (since this amounts to your xp, not a total gained at the end of the fight).

Also take my advice and run Vashyron with Machinegun, and the other two with Pistol. This'll make more sense once you start playing, but running any other setup makes things way harder then they need to be.
