No, bullshit. X is Tidus's story. Everything that happens in it not only is from his pov, but everything that changes Yuna's pilgrimage from a standard one is because of him.
Yuna in X has no character until Yunalesca. That's the point, that she has no personality or life of her own. Everything that is her is defined because of the church. That's why when Tidus offers to take her away to a different life she says, "I can't...I just can't". Because she doesn't know anything else.
This isn't like XII where the story is from Vaan's perspective but the story itself is about Ashe. No, the entire story is about Tidus and his father, and what the two of them have done to affect the world.
