because playing video gams isn't fun to me anymore and i feel good after watching other people having fun with them even if it is exaggerated
I like the ambient noise from a game I've played before. If I'm busy playing something else, and want some decent background noise, I pop up a twitch stream of a game I've already completed.
It's relaxing.

I like seeing someone else's commentary, their take on a game that I've already solidified my opinion on. I find the differences in perspective fascinating, and it makes for nice background noise while grinding in an RPG or something.
Sometimes I don't feel like playing a game so I watch a longplay or TAS.
Because it makes me feel like I actually have friends
Because I am poor and can't be assed to buy every fucking game that comes out.
Add on to that, I like to watch people who are good, or laugh at them cuz they suck dog shit.

Guys, I have a confession to make.
I'm a videogame kekold. I let other people regularly play my videogames, while I sit next to them and watch. I enjoy watching them, because I know I could never complete my games the way they can. The way I see it, it's a win-win for the both of us: they "steal" the games away from me for a while, and afterwards, I get to clean up and collect all the achievements! I couldn't ask for more out of gaming, and I know it may sicken some of you to "degrade" gaming this way, but I'm ok with it myself, and I still love my games. Thank you all for reading.
