It's not a traditional musou either. You spend more time defending something, running to the next object to defend and then fighting a boring boss that's a sponge/

No. It never was exclusive to PS4.
It had a ps3 release along side the ps4's release and they talked bout the Pc's release long before the game was available in the west.

You hit the Attack button for 45 minutes straight, then you win.

Very shallow, you start out mashing the basic attack and a weak spell, then unlock a few other spells all bound to one button.
The combat never deepens and there are some characters that are so useless they'll never get used unless you want to gimp yourself because you like them.
Also you can't take out whichever MC you choose at the beginning, so you're stuck with one unlikable OCdonutsteal and 3 DQ characters.
p.s choose the girl, she is superior to the boy in every way.
