So I'm replaying XC while I wait for X to come out. I can't get Dunban to topple and daze things on his own. Everything always resists it. Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong? I'm using the arts in the right order, too. Gale Slash, Electric Gutbuster, then Steel Strike.
I guess the only thing I can think of is that Gale Slash has to inflict bleed for it to work? I don't know. It isn't mentioned in the art that bleed is required though. The topple is even resisted on enemies that I'm extremely overleveled for, too.

Two things from what I've heard. Squad missions where it sometimes give you certain monsters to kill and it calculate the kills online. So you don't actually play in the same world but you help each other out for money and loot.
Second is that you and 3 others can all join to kill high powerful enemies. You can't actually do story mission just special mission to kill the enemy but it gives really nice loot.

This is what I dont get. so humans crash land on a planet, that is 99% covered in water except for a single landmass that has 5 different climates on it in close proximity to one another that immediately have sudden changes to it. I know its a video game, but come the fuck on. at least make them have different island across the planet or something.

XC is most likely just it's own little thing. What I said was most likely a fun reference he put in for fun and doesn't really mean more than that. And Nintendo has been looking everywhere for new IPs and they see Xenoblade as one and now with Splatoon they have 2 that they hope can expand their IPs. It already been gaining fans so I'm guessing Nintendo hopes it will be enough to make people happy.

That's really my one big issue with the game. With you talking with so many new races and the game really only gives you one alien that looks alien. Yes I know of the cat girl but that really doesn't fucking count in my book because you can easily mistake she for a human.
