For people who are pondering the purpose: It's for having access to a game console in several -different- rooms.
It's a feature oriented around groups that keep their PS4 connected to a shared TV, like families or roomies. A person is able to play a game without waiting/asking for the TV to be free.
It's not really useful to the primary /v/ demographic, who presumably keep their consoles in the same space as their computer.
