I'd donate if the game actually was interesting, as opposed to TRYING to look interesting.
I mean, the combat system doesn't even get challenging until you fight a boss, but it takes so long to get there it just makes it feel more like a chore than grinding in a korean MMO.

The only things that Skullgirls had going for it were its soundtrack , custom assist and Peacock looking like a genuine 50s cartoon. Otherwise it got what it deserved. Mike Z is a fucking hack who doesn't even understand fighting games anymore he dropped out of BlazBlue the second he had to learn to IB pressure characters and mashing 720 stopped work.

I honestly think I would have backed it if they didn't put that Prototype out there, because I didn't know how boring it could be. Also they should have put the funding at like 500k and gone for stretch goals so it didn't feel like an impossible mountain to climb to backers who then just wouldn't bother.
Contrary to popular belief, Kickstarter/Indiegogos that do everything "right" (Full game, no stretch goal bullshit, playable demo to show what the final game might be like) don't actually do that well because people either play a really shitty version of the finished product, or see what the game will actually be like, and then don't want to back it.
I like how the diversity crowd, in their unending crusade for diversity, is only able to produce the most racist stereotypes and caricatures possible.

Playing the prototype and slogging through the same enemies over and over again just sucked all the enjoyment out of it for me.
It'd be better if it was like a beat-em-up/metroidvania or if they had released a second prototype with all the latest changed made so we could see some degree of improvement.
