I started browsing in 2007 so maybe it's from even before then) with a really annoying tripfaggot named Akagi that spammed /a/ and /v/ with how "moralfag" characters are the worst. He'd repeat his shitty arguments and act like an edgy fedora faggot for days on end.
People started memeing that Kenshiro was bad because he was a moralfag, but most of them were being ironic, joking or were Akagi samefagging. He kept claiming that the moralfag supporters were in the minority (later on he went to claim they are only the minority now because Reddit took over) and he was proven wrong countless times, only to take his leave and return to do the same shit again.
I actually heard that the tripcode is now banned, which would explain why his faggot ass hasn't been seen in quite a while. Or maybe he just finally got bored and moved on.
Either ways, remnants of the dumb meme still remain, and threads like these are still seen sometimes for some inexplicable reason.

One of the series hallmarks is that EVERYONE Kenshiro kills is shown to deserve it in some way. I can't think of any of Ken's victims who didn't do anything monstrous.

While Kenshiro is a good person indeed, is kinda of moralfag, i would at least like to see him try to talk some of mooks into redeeming themselfes, or you know, scaring someone straight into being a good person, but of course its not something it should work everytime.
It be nice too if we could get some of the never-got-to-be-redeemed villains ands mook who got scared straight appearing in later episodes as good guys.

Practically the opposite is true. While al ot of the people he kills are thugs who wouldn't change, several people he killed either had some sort of genuinely good moral to their interests (Raoh wanted to save everyone in a way that didn't rely on the Hokuto Shinken prophecy, Ryuga just wanted to protect his sister) in an attempt to show Kenshiro - while truly a hope for mankind, is not the SOLE one.
But then HnK2 sorta shat on the idea by pushing out Falco who - while satisfyingly cuntish - had no truly redeeming factors.
This is basically /v/'s favourite character. It would explain the underage faggotry and the "lel we're so cool and edgy XD" memes going on.

He was a very prideful shit pre-nuke, no one disagrees with this, but something changed him when he trained to become Ken-Oh and he sought to unify the fucked up regions of the world under one banner to keep the chaos at least to a minimum.
Remember, he's not some mustache twirling "NYAHAHAHAHA, WHAT SHALL YOU DO NOW, KENSHIRO!?" kinda villain. Hell, he's killed his own men for going too far - like slapping a guy's head off for raping a woman. There's a reason Kenshiro respected Raoh even to the end.
And while the canon is very iffy, look into Legends of the Dark King, it does show a less villainous side of him. Just keep in mind the only relevant people he actually KILLED (Yuria and Toki died of radiation sickness) were people like Rei, who was even more evil than him.
